As a research assistant (f/m/d), the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg offers you a responsible, varied and exciting field of work with great scope for creativity in the motivated and dynamic data science team that researches and develops data-driven innovations.
Your tasks:
- Research in the field “Machine Learning & Generative AI”
- Publication of the results in renowned scientific journals/conferences
- Supporting the faculty in setting up and maintain software and hardware (local and cloud-based) systems
- Participation in the scientific and organizational structure and operation of the Data Science (B.Sc.) degree program
- Supporting professors in planning and conducting courses and examinations
- Independent implementation of exercises
Your profile:
- Successfully completed master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. data science, mathematics, robotics, physics, statistics, computer science) or a comparable qualification
- Very good knowledge of machine learning
- Good knowledge of statistics and programming (e.g. Python)
- Experience with IT systems: software and hardware
- High degree of personal initiative and responsibility
- Good knowledge of German
